Happy Father's Day

We would like to thank all of the beautiful families that came into our classrooms to spend time playing and doing activities with us for Father's Day. Miss Hann took some wonderful photos and we had lots of fun.

We are 100 days smarter...

On Friday the 29th of July we had our 100 days of being at school celebration. Check out how smart we are in our crowns.

Melbourne Museum

We had so much fun at the Museum. Mrs Lowen's children have created some awesome books and Miss Hann's kids have written some fantastic sentences. Below, we have added some pictures for your enjoyment.

Our Wangaratta Walk

On Monday the 2nd of May, both Foundation classes and some amazing parent helpers set off for a walk around the Wangaratta CBD. We walked out the back gate onto Murphy Street. From there we waved our way past all the shops to the Hollywood's Cafe corner where we crossed the road to have a sneak peak at the St. Patricks Church. Very excitedly, we wandered down to the Museum where we pretended to drink like horses in the trough out the front. After a good giggle, we moved on towards the Wangaratta Performing Arts Centre where we had a chat about some of the things we had seen and done there, then we looked across the road at the Wangaratta Government Centre. We continued on to the Cenotaph where we had a look around and took some rubbings of the canons.  From there we moved to the Cathedral where we were in awe of the amazing bell tower and beautiful stained glass windows. Beginning to tire, we persisted past the Town Library then back to the Government Centre roundabout, past Woolworths and on to have a play at King George Gardens. One we had replenished our energy, we sped down to the Swing Bridge, which was unfortunately closed due to maintenance. So we continued on our way, checking out the history of the Wangaratta Punt then across the bridge to the Apex Park. Our teachers gave us break here and we got to eat our snack then have a super fun play on the playground. Afterwards, we walked under the Ovens River Bridge then over it, turned at the Faithfull Street corner and wearily entered the Pioneer Cemetary. Slowly, we crossed the road and returned to school.

What have we been up to in Maths?

What have we been doing in Maths?
Well we are glad that you asked.
We have been so busy learning how to order things from smallest to largest, making patterns, ordering numbers and grouping things, plus much much more.
Check us out!
